Love Kumuyi is a PhD student in the Moon-HAI Lab, studying human-AI teams. Her research interests center on designing for human-centeredness in AI-integrated work, understanding skill evolution as AI reshapes expertise and decision-making, and building a common operating picture for teams navigating the future of work - and aims to move the conversation beyond rapid adoption of AI tools toward the deeper question of what work and organizational purpose should look like for the next generation. She comes to engineering from a background in law, management, and qualitative research on organizational culture, having worked with many socio-technical teams across crisis, conflict-affected, and complex contexts. She is focused on helping recalibrate how expertise and shared understanding function as people and systems make sense of complexity together - in a way that contributes solutions to the most pressing concerns of our generation.
